School Enrichment Program

Enrichment at Foundations Christian Montessori Academy

At Foundations Christian Montessori Academy (FCMA), we believe that a well-rounded education goes beyond the classroom. Our enrichment programs are designed to nurture creativity, strengthen bodies, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Each area of enrichment supports the Montessori philosophy of hands-on exploration and holistic development while reflecting our commitment to character, faith, and community.

Spanish

Language opens doors to understanding new cultures and connecting with people around the world. Through engaging lessons, games, and activities, students develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish. Early exposure to a second language enhances cognitive development and broadens global awareness.

Art

Art allows children to express creativity, imagination, and individuality. Our art program introduces students to a variety of mediums and techniques while teaching them about famous artists and art history. Projects encourage problem-solving, fine motor development, and confidence in self-expression.

Physical Education

Physical fitness is an essential part of growth and health. In PE, students build strength, coordination, teamwork, and good sportsmanship through fun activities, games, and structured exercise. We emphasize healthy habits that support both body and mind.

Recreation

Recreation time gives children the opportunity to recharge, connect with peers, and enjoy structured play. Through outdoor games, cooperative activities, and free play, students develop social skills, resilience, and a sense of balance in their school day.

Dance

Dance enriches both body and spirit by combining movement, rhythm, and artistry. Our program introduces students to a variety of dance styles, encouraging self-expression, musicality, and confidence. Dance also supports posture, coordination, and creativity—all while having fun.

At FCMA, enrichment is not an “extra”—it’s an essential part of our mission to guide students in mind, body, and spirit.
